NASW-KY is the largest organization in Kentucky promoting social work practice. This is your professional association, and your voice guides our advocacy and policy initiatives. Your membership also strengthens the impact of our social justice work, as greater numbers can amplify our messaging on both the state and national level. We offer opportunities for you to network at the branch level, obtain CEU’s for free or at a reduced rate and step into a variety of leadership roles on our board of directors and committees. NASW-KY is your social work family here in Kentucky, and you can make immediate connections should you move to another state and transfer your membership.

It’s important to show that through NASW-KY, social workers have a unified voice at the Capitol and across Kentucky. We are proud of our advocacy on important issues such as physical and mental health issues for all citizens, services and support networks for our Kentucky youth, education, LGBTQ rights, the opioid crisis, and our efforts to stop the restructuring of the independent social work licensure board. We can’t do this alone, and by joining NASW you show our elected officials and communities across Kentucky the collective power of social workers. Your commitment to NASW-KY will continue to empower our social work profession and we are sincerely grateful to you!
